Verdun remaster
I feel like the first chapter of the WW1 Game Series, Verdun, with all it's glory, fine gameplay, and, surely, most known setting of the Great War, would use a technological remaster to match it's Isonzo younger brother. The smooth gameplay, improved graphics, better gun handling, Verdun would be a hell of a better game.
What do you guys think?

Would love to see Verdun and Tannenberg match Isonzos gameplay, graphics, and features

I can't imagine it happening but it would be nice

It would be such a waste not to with all the diffrent factions and squads in the game its just sad to think they may not but it seems there going heavy with microtransations so we would see a new game most likely.

it's not a remaster but a full remake they need, Isonzo add to many new features. same sor Tannenberg.

microtransactions? where? there's some cosmetic dlc and that's it.

I asked on Isonzo's forums and the moderator said it wont happen because it would require them to redo everything since isonzo is on a new engine rip

Would love it but it won't happen, Isonzo is using a new engine

A remake would be awesom, both Isonzo & Verdun use the same engine (Unity), so it should be possible I think

Yes, all WW1 series games use Unity as engine but... Isonzo uses a newer Unity version than Verdun. As Unity does not allow porting back features to older Unity versions, it's technically impossible unless the devs re-do the games from scratch, which would take years and might not even pay-off unless it's a new product.

Ah.. ok, that sucks
would be nice to have the old maps though, even if the forces fighting over them are "wrong"

I would love that!! The game is definitely getting dated, It has so much potential if it had the quality of life improvements of the later games and smoother animations. 100/100 will buy if that ever come out!

i saw now a lot of Isonzo gameplays....really not my taste ! I deleted it from wishlist.
Verdun and trench warfare is great and i would like to see a overhaul but no fundamental changes.

yeah also all of the ww1 games should be in 1 game so the playerbases aren't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ split
It would change nothing, really. People that like the Western Front play that. People that like the East that. A rotation could be a solution but then people might just leave when a certain setting pops up. So, yeah... I mean the MCC also contains nearly all Halos in one launcher but the playerbase is still split among all six games. Merging would not do anything.
