How do i play with my friend on Epic Games?

I have Verdun, and so does he on Epic, but we want to play together against bots in a custom match. How can i invite him to my game if im using steam and not Epic? btw please don't tell me to install epic i don't have an account and will not make one.

You can only invite Platform Friends while in a match or squad lobby. (Steam or Epic Friends, if you have an account and sign into it while playing on Steam from the Options Menu)

Since you don't want to make an account for Epic (you don't have to install the Epic Launcher) tho, you're going to have to tell your friend the name and password for your custom match, and they'll have to find it and then join manually.

After y'all are in a match together, you can add each other as Game Friends. Then, in the future, you can join each other from the Main Menu.

Go to the Scoreboard or Squad Menus, click on your friend's name and then select the Add Friend Option.

Not it certainly just means it is more complicated to invite them that is all. Splitting steam and epic users would make no sense.
