Luger or C96?

I like the C96's sights more and ROF, plus the 10 round mag but the bit of jitter in the (idle) aiming animation and the need for it be empty for reloads sets it below the Luger's overall handiness in the trenches, IMO.

I personally think the Luger is a bit more reliable, the 10 round mag in the C96 is great but you can't reload until you empty the clip.

In real life the C96's higher-mounted barrel tends to flip back when fired, making it harder to keep on target than the Luger, which has a barrel closer to being in line with the shooter's hand. In the game they're both very nice pistols, and i usually pick a loadout based on whatever else it comes with besides the pistol.

Yeah luger is better. I find that it has more of a kick than the C96 and more of an all purpose pistol than the C96 which feels a bit unnecessarily sophisticated

cant tell IRL, but in verdun i'd always pick C96 instead of luger

I'd take the Luger. It's just a reliable semi-auto pistol, nothing special, but hardly anything going against it.

I'd still rather have the Reichsrevolver over both of these, though.
