Belleau Wood is covered with Aisne map.
St Quentin is blocked by the Picardie map, litterally the current one covers the area on the map it is.
Amiens by Picardie map.
Honestly just keep on using that excuse to block new content, we want bug fixing, optimisation and new stuff to play on.
Not bots and new sounds
Other battles during the Battle of Verdun would require a rework of Frontlines map browser. Of course, players could use some imagination and use the other maps to cover a different battle.
Although, I think that day and night plus some variation in the weather could go a long way to shaking up the status quo regarding maps.
A couple of the photos and drawings are regarding Vimy Ridge, and have influenced the design for Artois.
The maps we have, have been made to be an iconic representation of the sectors along the front, encompass the overall atmosphere of the battles fought and be distinct enough to provide variation in the flow of gameplay between the maps. (The exception would be Douaumont though, tbh, as it doesn't exactly cover that many battles in the Verdun sector.)
Apart from time/weather variation, I am still in favor of a Lorraine sector personally. It would probably work better as an Attrition/RDM exclusive map IMO though, much like Vauquois. There wasn't much fighting there except during 1914 however and the sector is already covered by the Christmas Truce map.
