Doesn't matter what the squad type is, who created the squad, or the name of the squad. Matters who is in the squad.
You can find former squadmates in your in-game friends list, and by looking for a little green number by their rank/level on the scoreboard. (Zero means you've played a single match with someone before, and goes up from there.)

Sometimes when I am an officer and I have mortar fire I hit several targets, or with the precision rifle I get far behind and I manage to kill some, but in close combat I always get very nervous and they kill me a lot of times
