Low player count?

I tried to play this game and no one was online. Am i doing something wrong or?

You can see your server (and change it) from the main menu, so as Bishop says the first question is what server are you on and when are you playing? Some areas (like Australia) do unfortunately have low server populations, but some areas are just quiet at off-peak times. Also it's important to make sure you are using the correct server for your area, the game usually gets it right but sometimes it doesn't.

This game is pretty much dead. On a good day you will find 300 or so players online.

It this was CS:GO or something, you could call it "dead". But this a very niche indie game, 300 players per server is not "dead".

Yea i was on US servers but there was very few players on, even when on eu servers, though i was on pretty early eastern time usa.
