Any chance of the game being easier to run in the future?

Looking at the game I thought it'd be a great game for my potato laptop but I was kinda shocked to see the game brings the CPU to its knees and crashes when loading into the actual main game. It doesn't look like it should actually be that hard to run. I understand it's early access though so any chance this is just an optimization issue?

yeah i've also been having trouble with this game, the fishing minigame is impossible with the amount of visual lag and stuttering i've been having (although it seems to work fine for my friend, so it may be my end) and upon first launch i experienced a lot of audio and visual stuttering. the audio stuttering cooled down after i restarted my computer but the visual stutter + lag still persists :( not sure if it's my hardware or not, i can run games like webfishing and inscryption seamlessly

Hm. What're yalls specs? Just for research purposes. How much ram do you have? Your processor, etc?

CPU is 12th Gen Intel i3-1215U with integrated GPU and 8 GB of RAM. Again obviously I'm aware this is no gaming PC or anything close but I wasn't expecting this game to just make it crash completely lol.

AMD Athlon Silver 3050U with Radeon Graphics, 8GB RAM
Also not a gaming PC but I can run other games decently (albeit with a bit of lag at first on certain games?)

Have you tried turning your graphics quality to Medium/Low and turning off Visual Effects? I'm gonna work on getting this fixed!

Hi. I just wanted to say I am a complete imbecile and couldn't find the graphic settings LOL. I didn't see it on the main menu so I just assumed the game launching in window and the preset graphic settings was just a part of it being in early access. I lowered the settings and everything is smooth as butter now. Sorry to waste your time lmao.

Yeah this was probably the fix. I posted here because when I first launched the game and messed with the graphics settings I still experienced choppiness, but I don't know if I just had to reinstall the game and restart my computer to fix the issues. It's running a lot better now and I just caught my first fish. 👍
