How can I reset the game to the beginning?

Hey,

I wanted to restart the game from the very beginning. I disabled Steam cloud saves, deleted 140.sav file from where 140 is installed. When I launch the game it has a new intro but after that there are all my unlocked levels again. I even uninstalled the game, reinstalled and still the same.

Are the safe files stored somewhere else on my PC? Any help would be much appreciated!

I've tinkered around a bunch, as far as my knowledge let's me. Does the game auto grabs save from the cloud when I first launch it, even though I've disabled it?

It shouldn't be that difficult to wipe the save from a small singleplayer game, this is ridiculous.

Yes many games download the saves from the cloud automatically. Try go offline and delete or move your save file. Location can be found here https://steamdb.info/app/242820/ufs/

I even physically disconnected the Internet, deleted that save file but still the progress is saved. That's what's strange about it.

I guess the progress is automatically backed up somewhere on my PC in the game files, not sure how it works with this game.

There is a file that has this line in it:

> Achievement progress fetched: 5

Maybe that is a part of the issue- game tracks how many achievements I have unlocked/levels beaten.

I've never had such problems with any other games before. I gave up on trying to figure it out. lol
