UNOFFICIAL 32 BIT OS FIX

If you are unable to load the game with a 32 bit Computer, Here is an unofficial but working fix you can do manually.

DISCLAIMER: BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN EDITING THESE FILES, DOING SO INCORRECTLY CAN CAUSE ISSUES TO YOUR COMPUTER. DO NOT TRY THIS IF YOU AREN'T COMPLETELY SURE YOU UNDERSTAND HOW TO DO IT.

So for a lot of 32bit systems with 4 gb of ram, the system might not be using the full 4gb required for the game. This can be resolved by manually changing the amount of ram your system uses.

Here are the steps:

1) Click Start and search 'regedit'

2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\SubSystems\

3)Double click on Windows file in right pane. (Here is the image provided for step 3) http://puu.sh/9wR8W/97b42b5ebb.jpg)

4)In Value data field scroll left or right using the arrow keys until you find this:

SharedSection=1024,3072,512.

5)Change 3072 into 4096 so it reads: SharedSection=1024,4096,512
(If you have SharedSection=1024,12228,512. change it from 12228 to 24300)

6) Open Command Prompt and type "bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 4096"

7) Restart PC

I am running a gigabyte motherboard with 4g of ram 8800 nvidia geforce alpha dog adition with a amd athlon 2 quad core. 1000w ps. I can get to the start screen it only loads 30 something% and the i get a (instance) where the load percent was. After that the game crashes with a runtime error. oh 32-bit wd7 ultimate. Going to try the fix mentioned above. hope this helps the developers with 32-bit os system crashes

Funny, Last time I checked the person that works on multiplayer Isn't the person that deals with "fixes for AMD driven boards".

We don't have a million and 1 test machines, and it is in Alpha. Things are bound to get through. Please have some patience. This is an intensive game so getting it to run properly in every 32 bit system isn't an easy task.

PS: A lot of people (including myself) have no issues with AMD. It is a much more specific issue that that. AMD has nothing to do with your System being 32 bit.

If I could get a bit more information aside from that the Boot was denied perhaps I'd be able to help.

Your Specs and your current drivers preferrably with out a bunch of blah blahs in it. It isn't helping anyone that way.

32 bit is outdated...devs should no longer support 32bit and raise the bar..lowest should be 64bit...this way we can go look forward to 128bits systems..

Hi I am using Windows 7 Professional
32 Bit
4GB (3.24 GB usable)
Installed this game, and it crashes when opening but it tells me that 32 bit detected and 64 bit is recommended.
I tried changing to both the 4096 & 24300
when I go to the command promt and type in bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVA 4096 (or 24300) i get the following "Access is denied. The boot configuration data store could not be opened"
Any idea how to fix this.
My son purchased this game with his pockey money and he is so dissappointed now. I am trying to help him as best as I can with my limited computer knowledge.

After trying "24300" and "4096", I got errors for both that said "Error Editing Value 'Cannot edit Windows: Error writing the value's new contents.'" Could anyone help with this?

Not this "SharedSection=1024,3072,512." or this "SharedSection=1024,12228,512"
