Looks and runs terrible?
I tried to run this "remaster" side by side with original, everything on ultra, disabled anitaliasing and upscaling, it still looks super blurry? Original litteraly looks better wtf, and remaster runs awfully

Yup, can't even run this at 60fps on Steam deck

not only that but its horribly blurry. almost like its at the wrong resolution, but the options are saying the right res
I'm not having performance issues but it did seem blurry. Running MLAA with FSR Native max sharpness seemed to help.

Absolutely broken settings at the moment. Blurry mess even at 4k, looks like 720p with a lot of blur to mitigate aliasing. Keybinds are broken too compared to the original (side mouse buttons are not even registered by the game).

Same here

Yeah same exact problems, i was super excited to play this but now im not sure if its not better to just play the original..
Sido's model is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and the game is low res. Amazing stuff.

No Russian dub either.

Peak remaster lmao. but at least it was free. Now we need to wait for mods to restore russian dub

There are so much damn post-processing happening. Those of you with a keen eye might see some shimmering on the vegetation in the distance. Go ahead and try this.
Turn of FSR. You'll probably notice the shimmering gets much worse.
Now turn screen space global illumination off and turn on HBAO. Suddenly, no shimmering.

I tried litteraly every setting, game looks like trash, and the new grass looks terrible too, recommend disabling shadows on grass

The only conclusion I can come to is that they tried to make it look like Stalker 2, using the exact same methods that make that game itself rather blurry.
I'm not really a big fan of GSC's obsession with making everything look like an awful ReShade preset.

Btw russian dub is still in the game. if you pick Polish voice over you have both russian dub and polish lector that's so funny.

Somebody mentioned turning AA off. Don't know if that'll fix it. I haven't played any of these "Enhanced" Editions.

I guess I should be glad then or else I'd probably be having a hard time like some others. Thing is, I don't blast every graphic setting and disable stuff I couldn't care less about.

Seems to help every, if not all the time. Just tweak stuff around and see what sticks

Seems to be something causing this "Blurry" crap. Someone said to turn off AA, but it seems you did do that and also have stuff on Ultra.

Not on your end, most likely just not optimized perfectly or so. Tweak some stuff, lower stuff, dance around those settings (if you really want to bother) and see what happens.

But if anything, stick with the OG versions, the way I see it (for now)

maxing out everything at 344x1440p on 3070ti and core ultra 7 perf is great. ( around 100 fps) very smooth. as for blur i turned off motion blur and use fsr native aa. seems to look better than the other aa methods
