EE replaced OG

I have noticed that the enhanced edition, has completely superseded the original releases.

Is there any way to buy the original version on Steam or do we just have to keep playing our pre-steam physical boxed copies?

I have all OG and got EN additionally...all good here. you could have bought Stalker OG for about 1,99€ before, and if you look in key stores, there should be still OG Stalker keys available. Of course also GOG.

Though, it drives newcomers towards the EE rather than browsing their library for the OG.

Why not just give em the option for the original like doom3 does?

All they'd really have to do is add old-school activation. Not like they are taking the game completely down you can still use codes from sites it seems. Original shadowman should be available too.

Course it don't matter for me I bought them way back but still... For anyone else who didn't buy them.

You'll need to use Google to locate the original releases, however, EE editions of any of the original trilogy will provide you with both games to experience.

If you have the original copies in your steam library you can still access the store page for them, it's just the store page has be delisted, so it won't show up when searching for it.
