If you want one, there are many ways you can do so. You could simply grab +2 or +3 Portal Levels and play the game normally. Heavy Heart would greatly improve your odds with that method. Alternatively, you could play Y.V. and get him to level Ultra: every time you do so, you get 50 weapons (75 with Open Mind) that drop at +10 Portal Level, so you'll usually see loop golden weapons in there.
Robot's passive is pretty much garbage, it's only a +1. I would recommend getting the loop golden weapon that you want on a better character and then spread that golden weapon around to other characters via a Proto-Chest.
And Screwdrivers still drop on loop, by the way. If a weapon is on the loot table, it doesn't go away unless you do something to make it that way (like Robot's Ultra that makes low-level weapons unable to spawn).
