• "It's getting a bit dry over here" = "Il commence à faire soif par ici ?" Seriously ? On me souffle dans l'oreillette que c'est de l'argot :o
• I'm getting some flashing dots or textures sometimes when I move the camera. I think it's caused by the AA forced in the drivers.
I believe I had another problem to report but forget it...
Edit : I remember now, in full screen and Full HD (1920x1080), the vignette effect doesn't occupy the screen entirely ; the pixel lines on the top and on the left are not covered by the effect. I will make a screen later.
Well, those differences are astounding. So is it possible that the game's AF is locked to 1x for some reason no matter if you select 8x or 16x? This could be why so many of us find the textures like ♥♥♥♥.
Can you get closeups of the mushrooms?
And how do I do this in Nvidia? Is there any adverse effects to my system or GPU?
Thanks! (Sorry for sounding naive, but aside from enabling Adaptive Vsync, I don't do anything else on my Nvidia CP)
You should have a menu like this in the nVidia Control Panel.
http://www.tweakguides.com/images/NVFORCE_5.jpg
Just choose "Program Settings", then search for the Styx application (Steam > steamapps > common > Styx > Binaries > Win64 (32 if you have a 32 bits OS) > StyxGame.exe).
And then just select the best value for the "Anisotropic filtering" setting. It should work and the texture quality is greatly improved, especially visible on the floor.
You can also try to enable Antialiasing using the nVidia Control Panel, but it seems not to work, just try yourself. With an AMD card it works, but I get some little artifacts.
And to demonstrate the problem with vignette effect (check top left hand corner)

For me personally my more unique problem is I use a Roccat Tyon mouse(link below for reference) and it features a joystick paddle on it which makes the solution of simply unplug the offender a little more annoying as that means disconnecting my mouse, this also is a non-issue with the majority of games for an example I just got through a short play session of AC2 Revelations which is from Ubisoft a company known for bad PC ports and they can manage making use of the current device actively being used.

I can't change language. In menu same text
I don't mind playing with russian UI.
Does anyone know how to change language to russian? I can't change it in steam's game options and in game.
Maybe i should modify some .int file?
I have used catalyst 14.9 and 14.9.1 latest beta but always the same issue. But if I put the game in a window all run fine.
