I have completed Space Hulk. Is there any other similar games?
Hi, all. I am a turn based game fan. And some months ago, luckily I found this game. And I finished it(only original main game, no expansion or DLC.) Not continuing buying them because of just a simple reason: I don't like the scary skulls stuff. Actually I am not a warhammer fan due to this reason though I have bought one warhammer RTS before. The RTS is at average. Not bad, not good.
Well, the mechanics of Space Hulk is pretty good. Is there any other similar game?
I only found 2 games from google. One is Legions of Steel(It's on steam some months ago). It looks very similar but graphics looks not better than Space Hulk. The other is called Alien Assault but it is too "small".

If you want a great turn based free-to-play game, try out Frontline Tactics.

There's also the Jagged Alliance games, many of which are also on Steam. One of the titles, Jagged Alliance: Flashback, is developed by Full Control, the makers of Space Hulk and Space Hulk: Ascension. The games have a high focus on unit management and careful tactics, so have a steep learning curve, but even a novice can have fun with them. The community for the games has also created hundreds of mods for the games, and JA:F is Steam Workshop enabled.

If you're okay with 'retro' games, the XCOM series has a number of old re-released games as well the Enemy Unknown remake. They use some early 90s style 16-bit graphics, and have a high focus on tactics and unit management.

AntiSquad is a somewhat mediocre TTS based off a browser game. For those looking for a basic, easy to follow TTS though, it's not bad and can usually be found during a Steam sale for cheap.

For a more light-hearted take on the genre, there's the Grotesque Tactics series. It's a parody of all the old style Hero Quest type games, and has a High Fantasy setting. It has some adult subject matter though, so not suitable for younger children.

Another High Fantasy setting TTS would be Blackguards and Blackguards 2. Very grim subject matter for this one though-- not for the squeamish.

As a general rule, these games fit into the genre "Tactical Turn-based Strategy". You can do a search using the "TTS", "TBS" or "RTS" tags here on Steam to find quite a few more options available. Best of luck finding a few that suit your tastes.

If you want to play the original space hulk game (The one released for Dos) download dosbox, and then download space hulk from abandonia or what not.

Only average rating, but a hidden gem since it is a classical 'oldschool' TBS game IMO:

Basically a good game, very similar to Space Hulk since it is based on the GW tabletop game but disgusting micro transaction policy, try to get it on sale:

XCOM and Xenonauts are your best bets. You should greatly enjoy them. Start with XCOM though.

Buy Elite:Dangerous. Its not what you are looking for. It doesn't do what you want.
It is fun (for me, anyway!)
