Is there online multiplayer just local MP?

Well, I'm not seeing anything official on the whole "No MP". Who knows, maybe it does have MP and it's just a misunderstanding. Seems dumb that they'd skip something very huge and potential. Unless there's a source that says steam version won't have multiplayer.

Origins' site used to say Co-Op and Local Co-Op, but the former was removed only days before its launch.
The lack of achievements and other useful features just hints that the same will happen with Legends because there's no uPlay.

Is there 100% proof that there's no uPlay? I think ass creed 3 doesn't have achievements but all the online play is enabled with uPlay and the same goes with Far Cry 3.

In the case of Origins, it can't be said that core features were removed, since Origins didn't have online multiplayer in any of the other platforms.

The challenges are single player, what's online are the scores.

So in other words no one knows if the co-op is online on PC, right?
