I'm holding off my purchase for now due to this reason.

Yes most of the ultrawide mods has this "trojan" which is a hack tool you'll be completely fine.
i can confirm this one works pretty good.

It is the first time I am hearing this though. I have installed dozens of ultrawide mods in the past, and not a single one of them used this "hack tool". I am definitely skeptical about the "most of the ultrawide mods work this way" part because in reality most of them just don't.

Although my technical knowledge is limited, I may be wrong and you may be fine, it is a gamble I am not willing to take. Hard pass.

This works for Linux too.

Just start it with wine.

The DLL that it is asking for can be found in:

<your steam folder>/steamapps/common/Neva/Neva_Data/Managed
