You show them nice art with cute lady and cute fox, and they swallow it whole like it's genius. The only good thing about this is, is art, and even then, there are thousands more UNIQUE artists than this. Also, this art tries to be so OBVIOUSLY beautiful. How about some depth, some texture, some low-keyness?
Where's the mechanics? This is a BASIC platformer(not even that great), with BASIC combat(not even that great). There is nothing here besides nice art. And there were dozens and dozens of similar better games than this in the last few years. It's not about how it looks, but how it works. And this is as basic as it can get. The animal should contribute to the gameplay, sometimes it does, but it's nothing special, mostly it just stands around and waits while you do stuff. Stupid. Why is the game named after the animal, if it's so insignificant? You could remove it, and nothing would change, besides some minor story(which is so sparse it doesn't matter anyway). Gigantic style over substance case.
