"If HoloCure was an official Hololive-licensed game, Coco, Rushia and Aloe probably wouldn't appear as playable characters." (Or worse, be some kind of DLC. *shivers*)
That said, Kay Yu wants to keep HoloCure as a passion project and a free fan-game for Hololive fans, made without the goal of monetary gain. So while this means we won't see stuff like Steam trading cards and badges, as well as Points Shop items (backgrounds, avatars, stickers, emotes, etc.), it gives more leeway for Kay Yu and the HoloCure team to include beloved members who already graduated--or terminated in the case of Rushia.
Heck, Sana already graduated but is still in the game, along with her Limiter and Size Up stamp (items referencing her).
The only likely exception is Hitomi Chris, since she's pretty much Hololive's "persona non grata".
I still have hope that Coco, Rushia and Aloe will still be included in 0.7 and 0.8. Their related items are already referenced in-game, after all.
Coco - Plug-In Asacoco, Breathe-In Asacoco, Injection-Type Asacoco (EDIT: Dragon Fire too.)
Aloe - Headphones
Rushia - Cutting Board (even though it's Ina who unlocks it)
Having said that, putting Hitomi Chris in would have been based. xD Though with only a single stream, it'd be impossible to give her any kind of relevant skills or weapons.
YES!!! that is the thing. There is also 2 reasons why i think Rushia Yes but Aloe not (again i will love both to appear). The reason is there is material Kay can use for Rushia ... A LOT of material that make easier to work around. But there is so low material for Aloe who is basically "Succubi idol" ... and that is the end. Unless Kay pull the most based move and basically subtle pull out the some material straight from Delta instead and adapt it to Aloe. Of course it doesn't discourage it because Kay already said he had to work around to multuiple of the already existent ones who he doesn't had a lot of material to work around it.
I was thinking the same as you: "I don't think they had any problem at all either since this is a free game".
BUT my concern is because Kay want also the girls to play the game. For Coco there is no problems, but i wonder what will be the case for Rushia and Aloe too. AGAIN i know they won't do anything because games like Idol Showdown already did reference to them too. Same with Sana.
For Rushia i agree ... for Redacted-chan that is another story for multiple reasons.

EDIT: And to answer your question on how I got 10 million+ HoloCoins:
- 21 GreedRyS runs on Stage 1 Normal.
- 21 GreedRyS runs on Stage 2 Normal.
- 11 GreedRyS runs on Stage 3 Normal.
All of varying difficulty (first 10 usually used either Halu or Marketing, later ones had both) and varying 'success' (had some sub-30s on Stage 3).And also, doing the Fandom goals the hard way for some members of EN Myth, CouncilRyS and JP Gen 0 (5 wins for Fan rank, 10 wins for Oshi rank). Even the JP Gen 1, Gen 2 and Gamers HoloMems who I got to Fan rank via gacha (G.Rank) had to do at least 5 runs on Stage 1 Normal. (Already bought most of the Shop upgrades by the time I got JP Gen 1, Gen 2 and Gamers.)
Somebody asked:
"Is there a chance to see Friend-C and Friend-R later on?"
And the dev response was:
"Yes."
Rushia is the only one who was terminated. I can see it being an issue including her for current talent to stream the game. Maybe if it does become an issue the steam version might leave her out and Kay-Yu would have a dlc available somewhere else to add her back in.
This avoids any fuss or discomfort without ignoring their legacies.
That awnser perfectly. I probably missed that before. But i heard only about Coco when someone asked.
I was thinking the same for her. With Rushia is the issue since she leaves in not good terms at all. Also the other was how much Kay Yu have to dig for get to work on Mano Aloe in case she is also added to.
Honestly! that is a clever Idea. OR had to fullfil certain requirements for unlock them too while make them optional as well, like a code as you mentioned it. Something you had to write up and get them like: "GMMF" "boingboing" "happy" (Why "happy"? Because of "Happy Synthesizer", the last song she cover ), with a little confirmation the lower right corner, and you can choose them on the lowest section under a special separation "???" and you get each of the 3.
She didn't really leave on "bad terms" she just made some mistakes (minor breaches of NDA basically) and they were contractually forced to fire her once it became public (if you don't enforce the terms of a contract it basically becomes void). I don't think there were any hard feelings from other members or Cover, and she didn't do anything nefarious which is why she was quickly snatched up by another big agency.
Lets just say, if there weren't some poorly timed discord notifications, Rushia would still be in hololive and things would have been swept under the rug after some internal reprimands. So ya, I don't think Cover or other members would really have any problem seeing her in the game (any more so than Sana), especially since references already exist. Though making her a "secret character" might be an interesting way to go.
