Scared for Mumei

Who else here is scared for her, it says important announcement, hopefully it's nothing bad and I hope not a graduation, luckily fauna and Amelia are doing way better off but still I would hate for her to go cause then the group is hardly there holo council oh sorry holo promise will be almost none existent

I got into hololive the week after Fauna graduated. I didnt even watch vtubers before then. So I knew nothing. I was really only watching clips at first. Was bummed to find that one of favorites had departed right before my arrival. But after watching alot of collabs and jumping around different peoples pov, Mumei quickly rose in the ranks to be in my top 5. Been eagerly awaiting to be able to catch some new stuff from her. So if this is what it looks to be, that would quite the disappointment. : \

I'm also hoping not, I love myth and councilrys from the beginning before it got changed to promise and I love them all, I cried when sana left then last year fauna and Amelia left, I do love justice and advent but I love the others more

Personally knows where to go to view existing uploads from most, including every former JP's & EN's pre & post COVER streams, still great just different. Still technically NOT a graduate.

Not a graduate means the possibility of collabs as Holomems.

Amelia and fauna won't be returning at all, you do realise companies can lie to fans right? Still Amelia and fauna have left, just like with sana the videos are still up for fans to watch them, also if I'm wrong then name one hololive member that left and then came back and I don't mean for like a I mean left the company for a long time and then returned, cause when they leave they can't come back

Only Ame had the special case, she can return whenever, but she seems to be much happier as Dooby and having the freedom from all the red tape of Holo.
Fauna just graduated, but same as Ame she's been a lot more peppy in her new form.

For Mumei I see three possibilities;
-Haachama Hiatus
Mumei's been working toward her law degree, and I can see her taking a long break like Haachama did to finish her education, and then return to regular streaming for a time.

-Ame Case
Again, focus on her law degree, and then peruse a law career with her degree, but keep things open to return for special events.

-Graduation
Similar to the Ame Case, but she just wants to 100% focus on a law career, or she'll go indie where she'll have more freedom in her schedule and dealing with things like perms or recording.

Companies can lie; like I believe the "There's no management problems at Hololive" is 100% false, at least 3 recently graduated talents cited that being a reason why the left, and several of the current talents (Kiara, Altaire, Kronii, etc.) have complained about management issues too.
But when it comes to the Ame Situation, I think it's true.

Afterall, why would they not just say she Graduated like all the other talents?
What would they gain by lying about that? And for just Ame specifically?

The thing is Ame is an award winning Audio Engineer. She won an Emmy for her Foley work on an animated Wizard Oz series, and has worked on many other big IPs, one being a Spider-Man animated series.
Makes sense CoverCorp wouldn't want to completely severe that bridge.

The door is open, she CAN return, but at this point, why would she?
She has far more freedom and choice as an indie. Sure she has more work since she doesn't have a manager; she has to set her own schedules and most of her assets she has to create herself or pay for it out of her own pocket.
However, not having to deal with all the red tape, like perms or traveling to specific recording studios, seems to outweigh the negatives of not being at Holo for her.

With Vtubers and Corporations, there are a lot of factors that go on in the background none of us will ever know about. All any of us viewers can do is make conjectures.
None of us know the fine print in the contracts these girls sign, or if there are or aren't special cases.
I never said Holo was taking her back, I said they COULD. It's a possibility. Is it likely? Hell NO. Chances of that happening are nanoscopic, but given how different Ame's leaving went, especially since Holo continues to use Smoll Ame (they even used her at this year's HoloFes just a few weeks ago,) it's a possibility I consider, even if the odds are a snowball's chance in hell.
