There is already sprites for Doki and Mint that were made by someone on the team so why not figure it out and make your own for your favorites?

COVER wouldn't do anything like that, nor would any Indie popular enough to actually see a mod made for them. Most of them would love it. Nintendo is just notoriously litigious.

We already have mods that add characters, though I don't how well upkept any of them are.

Cover Corp actually encourages people to make things about Hololive. From merch to games such as this, they love it. It's on their official website about merch making, as long as someone isn't like pumping out assembly line amounts of stuff, they don't care.

That's why there are so many independent artists out there selling stuff of the girls on like Etsy and Red bubble, it's simply encouraged, and if Kay wanted to go with holoIndie I'm sure they would have payed him as well.

And there certainly isn't a rule with having a Hololive girl on screen with an indie vtuber or a girl from another agency. That'd be crazy, as a couple of the girls have done collabs with Ninjisani and others.

Dude, they won't even add Rushia (because of what the real person behind the character did even though i thought the healthy thing would be to separate the character from the talent and let the character be but whatever), what makes you think they would even dare to add non-hololive characters, if the concern is that you want more characters they are not running out of hololive characters anytime soon, specially when new ones keep coming.
The only option here is accept it's not happening and wait for someone else to do that, or like others said, do it yourself or hope for some official mod support so mods are easier to make for this game and then do it yourself with or without that, there's no other options.

I mean to be completely fair, which of the girls have ever TRULY stuck to their characters? Like, Luna is the only one I can think of because she still talks in that damn voice. But so many of the other girls just...act like themselves, thank god. Pekora, Nerissa, Bae and many other girls have had their literal mom's and family on stream before. The only thing they do is "oh yeah I'm the guardian of time, whatever" and then they just...act like the normal actual adult women they are.

The only time I've ever seen any of them keep up their "character" is when they debut and then... Maybe like a month after, but never forever. Rushia was just simply not a good person.

Kronii is an excellent example because she just talks about the weird insane crap she does like blending the damn subway sandwich. Our girls are autistic as hell man, they're just normal people.

And once again, a couple of the girls have done collabs with Ninjisani girls, it's not a rule set in stone that they can't. Yes, it will probably only be modded in this game, but it's not like the companies hate each other
