Irys farming nerfed in new version?

Is Irys money farming nerfed in 0.6? Is it guaranteed that our money from 0.5 will carry over?

If the stuff I've seen from the Holomems' early-access streams (I've only seen Ina's, a bit of Calli's two streams, and some parts of Kaela's and Ollie's), clips of other Holomems' own early-access streams and reading through r/Holocure is any indication... (Spoilers Below)

HoloCure's new coin farming meta character seems to be Reine--with the proper setup/build. Also from the streams, Greed Stamp (and other Stamps) have been reworked.

As for the second question, Iofi's save file seems to have transferred properly, so I'm optimistic that--as Kay Yu-san puts it, "It just works."

With the new Greed Skull effect, you're likely to see gold be similar or go up on most characters, except the few very fast low damage ones like IRyS and Korone which will drop down in gold gain.

There's also new ways to gain speed, and gain more of it with buffs to the speed for Energy Drink for example, which is great for Piggy Bank (which also has a Super variant now).

Like the last post mentions, there are new characters that specialize in gold gain, and 1 in particular stands out. They might not reach old IRyS levels, but if you desperately want to hoard gold fast they will work well.

This is a major win for people that actually want to play the game and not just grind 1 character endlessly.

depending on how bad it is, it could just be the end, feels like things can be overnerfed for no reason, farming coins isn't an issue currently it never was, add something that takes alot of coins, its why vampire survivors doesnt nerf anything,

overnerfs and all that just dont feel good, maybe 30min was changed but if it hasnt gold farm was the only fun thing to go to 30min for

if mumei is overnerfed or irys is and they go from fun free run to they suck, they just wont be played anymore. mumei was op but still couldn't survive end game yaggo with full crit build and yet gets nerfed or reworked?

if coin collection is nerfed well just play the current version farm all the coins you need then update

hope stuff isn't getting overnerfed just cause they are the easy mode characters. needs something like the eggs from vampire survivors where we can just prestige the characters and difficulty and get stronger and stronger, some gameplay loop

It's less that IRyS got nerfed, and that there are now more options for farming coins. Reine for example is now considered another good money farmer due to her skills being primarily about money making, and the HoloHouse adds more ways to make money with less stress.

The Greed Stamp was also reworked so that its effectiveness scales off damage, which makes it even MORE intuitive to use since previous farming optimizations required you to do ridiculous things like making your character *weaker*. The rework also makes the Greed Stamp more appealing for more characters, instead of just being an IRyS thing.

i guess that means it can become more effective then although there is way more stamps added anyways so even if it was the same there is way more randomness to even getting the stamp

and i have no idea the previous strats i just used irys stage 1 hard solo weapon which gets you like 350k coins a run if you get greed at like 6min

i bet most people run stage 2 hard cause the x1.60 bonus and get less coins

Watching Ollie's HoloCure early access stream and she mentions gettig 500K with IRyS in a single run. Considering she's not exactly who you'd consider an "optimized" gamer that tells me that if you build and play well (and a bit of luck) you can still use IRyS for major coin farming. She also mentions how Holo House fishing can now be a good source of coins.

The answer is wrong on Reine as an exclusive Meta. Calli used Irys in the same stream and both were effective.

Well, if the Greed Stamp has been reworked to scale off damage, does this mean that HoloCure's raw damage-dealers like Kiara, Calli, Suisei and Ayame (especially with her awakened Dual Katana) are now viable for coin-farming runs? (Looking at the existing characters for now, despite looking forward to actually playing the Holo ID members.)

OT: Checking out Nerissa's stream (a Moona playthrough)... Wow, she's pretty good (and by that I mean she's familiar with the 0.5 Collabs and the important mechanics of the game). And she got the Jingisukan Super Collab!

First disable all weapons, then go Irys, stage 2 (hard) endless mode, max Halu, your main weapon and Super Chatto Time! and pick Greed Stamp + Bomb Stamp + either Haste Up or Projectile Up for the last stamp.

The rest of your items can be whatever you want, but try to stack attack speed and avoid damage upgrades.

I knew Irys + greed is bonkers, but I didn't think solo weapon would be the way. And I didn't know the bomb sticker dropped coins either! Seems nice, I'll try it now thanks. I assume you max the spawn upgrade too right?

no you dont do stage 2 hard less enemies spawn on stage 2 hard even with maxed out halu and what not, i got 200k on stage 2 hard getting stamp from almost go in comparison i get 350k on stage 1 hard getting the stamp at 6min

irys solo weapon mode piggy bank, pillow, plushie, super chat, halu, glasses. level haste any time it appears, get speed and health and for stamps max greed stamp, haste stamp and stun stamp, bomb stamp is useless haste gives you way more cause you are firing the weapon way more often, than hoping the bomb triggers then triggers the coin

damage does not matter and you actually want some crit and damage late game anyways cause you want to be able to kill enemies at 25min, damage doesnt matter so much that even super super super chatto time doesn't change much and even with 1200% attack irys doesnt scale well, 100k coins comes from running from yagoo you can only do that with speed, stun, plushie and body pillow, if you dont kill enemies at 25min you cant get exp

No? You can easily make thousands of coins in a few minutes of fishing.
