What was your first shiny with shiny rod?

I've gotten 2 shinies but have yet to get one since I've obtained the special rod. Wondering if people have had more luck then me.

I literally got my first shiny 11 minutes after entering Home for first time with basic rod

I got a shiny lobster and a shiny turtle with the Turkey Rod, I've only -just- bought the Golden Rod and haven't used it a lot yet.

Did fish up a painting though, that was neat.

Yesterday I actually got three shiny fish with the Atlantean Rod, and managed to fish up a Fubuki burger chair.

The first shiny was a koi fish and I LITERALLY got the second shiny (A golden pufferfish) after 1 regular fish (So shiny fish, then normal fish, then shiny again, within like a minute). The third was a shiny squid I got like 15-20 minutes later.

I got Fubuki's favorite Gold Koi with lvl3 rob and got gold Robster with lvl4 rob
that's all ... never saw new shiny again even I bought the lvl 6 rob
maybe just I'm bad at rhythm game that I can't pass combo 5x over

I got a shiny Clown Fish with a rod below Turkey, and later a shiny Mantaray. Unsure if the latter was with the Golden Rod though. I also fished up some furniture.

I feel you. I did over 400 fishing attempts before I got my first golden fish with the gold rod. But when it turned out to be a golden axolotl, I couldn't be as annoyed anymore.

I got a gold turtle with Atlantean rod and made him a smol turtle house.

Took me about 60 tries after getting the Golden rod to get my first shiny (a squid). I thought you had to use the golden rod to get them

You can get them with any rod. I wonder what the odds are.
Probably pretty low.
Got 3 so far but it's been about 500 tries since I last got one.

Haven't gotten the final rod yet but I've fished up golden versions of Pufferfish, Lobster, and Turtle. (in that order)

Playing since it got released, got all rods and didn't get any shiny. Yes even with the golden rod. Although I got 2 furnitures so far yet.

Never had a shiny fish at all, already obtained the golden rod.
Today, using the golden rod, for the first time i got 3 exclamation marks.
Was on 26 combo and expected it to be difficult, but no, the rhythm game was very, very slow and I got a golden shrimp out of it.
