How does the Leaderboard work?

Currently my IRYS' run on Stage 1(hard) and Stage 2(hard) place on Rank 1 on the leaderboard.
Does that mean I'm the global leader for now?
The results are:
Stage 1(Hard) Score: 5517992 Time: 38:33 LV: 153
Stage 2(Hard) Score: 6436555 Time: 41:35 LV:155

It is a mystery. My times just straight up don't show AT ALL for Kiara, and I suspect many others aren't either.

Are you clicking the submit button? It's not automatic.

The leaderboard only take scores from the endless mode and time mode, maybe you played it under the stage mode? Also, remember to submit your score and not click off the result screen too fast like I did the first few times.
