What are the chances there will be stuff in the point shop for this game? Basically no chance right? I just want a HoloLive Steam Profile background

Yeah the odds are pretty much zero. While it isn't exactly what you are looking for you can always make a custom hololive steam profile even an animated one. Some already exist you just need to look them up and look up how to get them to work (yes other people see them when they visit your page.) It involves using the artwork showcase.

Chances of the game even coming to steam was low and its not like items in the point shop costs money to obtain so I would say the chances are the same as it coming to steam. They managed it once maybe they will do it again.

Steam trading cards and any items that can be traded/sold via the Steam marketplace likely isn't allowed. I don't know if devs get any money from the points shop, which is what would prevent that.

Yeah the Error game could have been the chance to get some Hololive stuff, even if all of them may have been horror themed. Maybe you can get some when Aqua's visual novel releases on Steam too, but that doesn't have as many holomembers https://twitter.com/hololive_En/status/1679364451462696960?s=20
Anyway, there is some... legally dubious Steam items that look a little too close to holomembers but are not related at all, you could probably find them by yourself but the game they are from is just the usual low level trash anime game that for some reason Steam still accepts (even when more known anime VN's tried to get in Steam and were rejected, but lets leave my grudges agains some puritan anime hating Steam employee apart). The steam avatars and profiles are probably more valuable than the game itself tbh

well.. if you consider you can buy emotes, cards and profile background in the point shop, yeah it's pretty possible, the devs themselves own nothing with this type of content, and they can put them easily(i know that because, the dev of Epic battle fantasy, matt Roszak, said that once). and in the Derivative works guidelines of the hololive terms the aren't any problem, and the creator himself wants to holocure be a loved fan project and he dont want to gain any money with that. so yeah it's possible those thing on steam, it will only depends if kay yu wants to do that.
whoever around the other contents exclusively from the point shop. i don't have any information about them(monetization, difficulty, legally).
PS: some of holomem was confused why kay yu don't put a price in the game.( so it's presumed, if he wanted to monetize this game, he could.)

iirc, the devs have to wait a few days (or was it weeks) until they can add point shops stuff. Dunno if it works different with free games.

point shop stuff mandates that the game cost money, and pay the dev revenue.
the game will never cost money.
ergo, there will never be points shop stuff.
