Game data not saving at all

My save data seems to get deleted every time I start or exit the game. I would just locate where the saved data is supposed to be locally, but it seems this game cannot be played offline, so whatever mechanism is overwriting my saves likely can't be circumvented.

Is there any way around this? Anyone else had this issue of saves being deleted?
So far my experience with this game is to spend 2 hours trying to figure out how to play offline, giving up, playing for 5 hours just to have all my data erased. (And there was never a prompt for cloud saving issues at all)

Sorry to hear it.
All our game that create local saves do not delete them.
Make sure you run Ubisoft Connect as administrator so it has permissions to write on your drive, make sure the folder where the save file is written is not read-only.

No files, should be deleted from your drive without your approval.

Ubisoft Support
