Crashing before the main menu

For some reason my AC4 will crash altogether just before it hits the 'press any key' screen. I've tried reinstalling Ubisoft Connect and that hasn't worked. What is odd though is that when I originally downloaded the game I was able to get into the main menu perfectly fine, but a few days later when I go back on the game I'm now experiencing this issue. It just kicks me off the game and closes Ubisoft Connect. I'll post my PC specs as well since that may be the issue but it shouldn't be considering it's a fairly up-to-date PC. It should also be noted that drivers are up to date, so that shouldn't be an issue.

PC Specs:

RTX 3060
32GB 3600mhz RAM

You stated it only started to happen recently, and has worked without issue before that. Did you change anything on your PC between that time at all? Such as hardware or software, or maybe any updates?

I'd definitely recommend taking a look into this PC technical support article [www.ubisoft.com] as it generally helps a lot with technical and crashing issues for lots of people, so please give the steps inside a try.

Additionally, I would recommend giving compatibility mode [www.ubisoft.com] a go, and also, please make sure that your game, and both launchers are installed on the same an internal, preferably C, hard drive.

Hey bro, disable steam input mode in the control configuration, this will solve the problem, after entering the game, activate input mode again to use the gamepad.
