Activation code
Hey there community!

I am trying to launch Assassins Creed Black Flag and the Ubisoft connect has popped up asking for an Activation code and I can't find it anywhere, Steam said it should be in my reciept email yet i see nothing but basic recieptt stuff please help in anyway, thanks

that's strange, maybe reinstall it? steam opens a pop up everytime i boot the game giving me the code, and yet, ubisoft has never asked for it. Are you booting it through steam or ubisoft?

Right click on ac4, Go to manage, click CD keys, and you will find it there.

I'm sorry to hear that you're being prompted for an activation key when launching Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Crust_Thug has provided steps on how you can find your CD keys within Steam. Were you able to locate the activation key required using these steps?

I would also recommend checking out this support article[www.ubisoft.com], which provides more troubleshooting suggestions for when Steam asks for a Ubisoft Connect PC key.
