Community Challenges Question

There's a content in the game that requires "to perform a community challenges".
But no any challenges is seen.
So how is it possible to unlock swords and pistols that requires "community challenges"?

Hey Smith, thanks for reaching out and apologies about the delayed response.

Since the transition between Uplay and Ubisoft Connect, some older titles will no longer receive any patches and for those, all Ubisoft Club rewards are automatically unlocked, however as far as challenges go - I am afraid it has been disabled and will not be visible. Hello Smith!

Yes - these challenges have been disabled as many legacy games aren't supported in Ubisoft Connect.

For now, there are no plans to restore these legacy challenges.

As the Challenge system has been discontinued for Assassin's Creed II following Ubisoft Connect's launch, any rewards from these Challenges can't be unlocked.

As a trade of sorts, all legacy games impacted by this have had all their original Rewards auto unlocked for free, without the requirement to spend Ubisoft Club Units.

So this means all of the Challenge Items are actually unlocked?
For some reason they are not in my current game.

Only the "unlockable ones.
The outfits you can "unlock" with them is locked forever.
Ambassador outfit for example (if I am correct) is one of them, which is locked forever it seems.

Other stuff you could unlock trough the Ubisoft store, points, and rewards are all unlocked automaticly (the ones you can see in your ubisoft connect menu's)

There's few pistols and swords that are challenges unlockable. So they are locked too?
They are in the game right now.

yeah,everything is still there, just not unlockable.
Maybe that you have played it before and unlocked them that are behind this community lock?

Also the special content stuff (the black island, sacrifice island etc. are still present.

But the "captains somethingsomething pistols are locked for example because of the community thing.

same goes for the explorers outfit (I thought it was the ambassador).: also locked forever.

Basically if it says in the menu that is can be unlocked trough community challenges it is locked forever it seems.

But: it is nothing you will miss except for the completion and hoarding (like I use to do): they are not "special" weapons with better stats etc.


Then you also got these "community" chests (the blue ones...
I haven't seen one yet, but according to a few posts here and there on the internet, they still appear from time to time; I cannot confirm this yet.

But I think this might be true, since the blue whale was also a sort of community thing, and I found 2 today.
