crashing while doing "follow blackbeard"
My game is crashing at the same point every time. As soon as they start talking about medicine, the game crashes. I'm running the game in windows 8 compatability mode (i use windows 10) and it worked fine until this point. Any fixes ?

Hi, just started happening to me as well. Almost same location. I can do the diving mission and see the cutscene afterwards, but then it crashes. Worked perfectly until now.

I ended up messaging ubisoft in live chat and they gave me a fix withn an hour. Could be different for you, but I had to do a Clean reboot of my computer. If you google that and go to the offical microsoft website, you'll find some instructions on how to do one and it takes about 5-10 minutes max. Basically, it just stops everything from auto starting with your pc, apart from microsoft services. They told me, that i'd have to enable my things again one by one to find out the program causing the crash, but I decided to just play through all the story missions and then enabled my things again and uninstalled the game lol. Hope it helps

Thanks - I'll try writing to them. I really rather not do this.

Sadly this didn't work. Ubisoft said game is too old for them to do anything and Clean Reboot did nothing. I am not keen on starting the game from 0%.
