The Assassin's Creed: IV Black Flag companion is something that will be sorely missed!

However as development has concluded for the game, the app is no longer supported.

There are no known plans to re-instate the companion app, but it's great to see it was enjoyed so fondly!

Look, there is literally no excuse nor reason to shutdown a companion app merely because a game is no longer being actively supported. There isn't any reason a companion app needs to connect to any servers at all. It's just another method of planned obsolescence
