PS3 or PC?
So...Do you think I should buy this for PS3 with better controls and a far more worse frame rate or wait almost another month for PC release with terrible keyboard controls but no engine issues? Im really stucked here, guess I will honor my PS3 for the last time with this before upgrading to PS4. But Im really scared that I will get another Red Dead Redemption/AC3 open world style extreme frame rate drops...

I had no problem with a keyboard+mouse playing the previous games using a 5 button mouse, you can pretty much bind every action to the mouse buttons

If the controller is the only reason you are thinking of the PS3 version, you should get a "Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows". It works great with every (PC) controller enabled game I own with little or no set up.

Bonus is that the "Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows" is really just a standard 360 controler with a wireless adapter, so if you have a 360 you could move the controler back and forth as needed.

PS3 will be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ itself trying to get above 20 fps. Go PC with controller.

I haven't seen controller support offered yet. I actually came here looking for the answer. Has it been announced officially yet? Personally, I cant use mouse/keyboard on most games except rts and the like. For 2 reasons I'm used to controllers now and set in my ways and I play in the livingroom from the comfort of my recliner. I wouldn't even consider this for my 360 which nearly ruined my gta v experiance. I'm glad ubisoft is showing pc some love.

ALL ASAASIN CREED PC VERSIONS HAVE FULL CONTROLLE SUPPORT! I have played and and finished all assasin creed games on pc, and all of them have controller support. Yes go and buy it on PC there is nothing to worry about!

This.

Whoever thinks AC on PC does not fully support controls are thinking wrong. You can play with any controller available. The X360's the best one.

Thanks for the info. I use my 360 wirless controller for games. I get all of my games on pc now when avail. Black Flag is going to look amazing on pc or atleast it should. 3 looked great on an 8 year old console.

360 controller works in all new games that are coming to pc. Next year when valve release the steam machines and their controller then controller friendly games will not longer be an issue because the steam controller will work perfectly with all games even those that dont support controllers. Also steam machines will come equipped with controller already unlike current pc's that come only with keyboard and mouse.

I played all of them(AC1 2 Brotherhood revelations and 3 ) with xbox 360 controller that i have connected to my pc all the time since 2006. Next year i am going to replace it with Valve controller.

PC. The graphics will be better with better frame rates if you have a powerful enough machine.

Are you stupid? Since when in the history of ANY Assassin's Creed game have PC players been forced to use a keyboard and mouse?

The range of gamepads one can use on PC is FAR more extensive than what you can use of consoles. Oh, and that includes the PLAYSTATION controller. For ages I owned a couple of cuper cheap Dualshock converters so I could use Ps2 controllers on my PC.

It's this same old ignorance to PC gaming: "PC gaming sux cuz me cant use gamepads, buh!" "PC gamez is ♥♥♥♥♥ int it cuz me cant plug it to big TV."

It will run like ♥♥♥♥♥ on current gen consoles, there's no question about that-- oh and it will LOOK like ♥♥♥♥♥ as well.

Yes compared to pc version the current gen console version will be ♥♥♥♥ but even compared to the next gen consoles the pc version will be the best.

I just now got a pc for gaming so I never had to research Assassin's Creed on pc. Also, I did not say anywhere in any of my posts that Pc gaming sucked (Even when i played strictly on consoles i always said pc gaming was superior). I just said I Wanted to use my controller and I do have the PC plugged into my tv if you bothered to read my first post you would already know that. "I play in the livingroom from the comfort of my recliner".

I used those as examples as to how ignorance to PC gaming damages its credibility as a gaming platform. I never said you stated these things, and by the way I presented my post that was very clear.

"Do you think I should buy this for PS3 with better controls and a far more worse frame rate or wait almost another month for PC release with terrible keyboard controls" However, you did write this ridiculous statement-- as if you can only play using keyboard and mouse.

You can use a Ps3 controller on PC with a little bit of work. But there a tons of other good gamepads - many of which are very similar in shape to the Ps3 controller - that you can use.
