So I install the game on a new Computer after many years; I was around 40-50% through previously.
Am I correct there was no such thing a Cloud Storage back then? or anyway to get my old save game back?

Back in those days there cloud saving wasn't such an usual thing. So , you'll have to look for those save files inside your PC at the following location: "...\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\[Insert Gibbesrish which is your account's ID]\... and then according to this site's information[github.com] most likely you'll find those inside a "437" folder, which relates to your Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (AC IV: BF) being the default's Steam version of this game.

Then pick that folder over and copy it into an USB Pen. Afterwards copy that very same folder from the uSB PN into the similar location mentione as above into your new PC.

And you're done.

This happened to me a few years ago.

After looking into it, Black Flag DID have cloud storage for saves but it was with Ubisoft (as Uplay is/was a requirement) but they decided to turn it off and subsequently nuked them.

If you don't have access to the original machine your save is gone. This is another reason never to trust Ubisoft to do the right thing.

저는 슬프게도 2015년도에 구입하였지만, 아직도 엔딩을 보지못했습니다.
지금까지 10번에 가까운 세이브소멸을 경험해서 현재도 게임을 플레이하지않고있네요..


It was like that originally.
Sadly, I bought it in 2015 and still haven't seen the ending.
I've experienced my save disappearing close to 10 times so far, so I'm still not playing the game.
