Ubisoft server connection loop

Hello,
My game can't connect to the ubisoft server (infinite loading) which is essential for me because I'm at a point in history where I have to connect to the ubisoft server (the quartermaster asks me to see how the kenway fleet works) and I can't find any other way to escape it because it always results in a connection to the server.
I've never had this problem until now because I've always been connected to the server, I also have fiber so it doesn't come from my speed.
I tried to disconnect and reconnect from my ubisoft account or restart my pc but nothing happened, and I can't find anything on the internet.

That's exactly what is happen to me.

Today ubisoft connect downloaded an update, immediately after the game connected; the second time i've tried to play it refuses to connect, it stays in "connecting to ubisoft server" forever.

Ubisoft idiots need to fix this asap, why publisher always broke games that works?

I was waiting for the last treasure map from kenway fleet and now i can't get it.

same here! kinda mad, played the game on the morning with no problem and wasted my whole afternoon to try to solve it. pretty disappointed, ALWAYS having issues with Uplay/Connect

Their servers was having an issue according to their help page with outage but the Multiplayer and Kenway fleet issue seems to stem from previous issues lasting over 2 years now that the recent update made worse. I'm having the same issues.

If they remove server then all the item/reward of kenway fleet must be unlocked automatically. I'm stuck at 99% and was doing last mission, just an hour left before obtaining last treasure map..
I played Ac4 for the last month with no problems, just today they decided to broke everything

Interesting because I just started playing the game again and was fine till it introduced the fleet, now I'm softlocked because I can't login to the server and every time I try to access the fleet it just gives a blank screen. Hope they fix it soon!

Highly alas for us all today, I'm also stuck upon that neverending loop while trying to get into the game's main menu. Since it can't connect to the game's servers to do their usual validation check-ups it gets you into that forking loop.

Not quite. I've played the Freedom Cry DLC yesterday, therefore I was able to connect into the game's Ubi$oft dedicated servers for it to do that validation check-up. Simply fetching a link being a month ol' tells you nothing about their server's performance for the rest of that timeframe period. Please stop generalising in such a thoughtless pattern , because for me it has been working pretty much at every spare time I've got at the end of each day (and thus it also must have been working for plenty of others as well).

You can always set the UbiSoft Connect to go offline and that usually solves my connection issues. Atm, I'm being able to open my Freedom Cry DLC without it having been (daily) verified by Ubi$oft. Sometimes I really loath these sort of "Digital Rights Management" ("DRM") systems from game developers.
