What is the difference between digital deluxe and gold edition?

so i want to buy ac4 and im not sure if i should buy digital deluxe or gold edition?

ACIV only has 3 versions:

Standard ~$60
Gold ~$80
Limited ~150

You probably saw the Deluxe edition for ACIII and mixed the 2 up.

- You won't be seeing a sale on ACIV this year, especially not a month after the PC release.

I don't see a Gold on Steam. Just the Digital Deluxe (Which I pre-ordered).

NwptRaisins - You might actually want to check the store page for ACIV as there is a Digital Deluxe edition of the game. If you can't see it on your store, check other stores like Uplay, Amazon.com, etc. For instance:

Salvation - yes, it is for US only. Which is why anyone outside of the US will not see it on their Steam stores.

To the OP - the only difference between pre-ordering the DDE & the Gold edition is the Gold edition comes with the Season Pass, while the DDE does not - both editions will have the exact same DLC (via pre-ordering, I believe this will change once pre-order's are finished). So if you have the option to buy/pre-order the Gold edition... that is the one to buy.

For those without access to the Gold edition (and don't want to try ordering from Amazon.com with a fake US address), you can get the DDE & Season Pass from GMG for $85 US (which would cost $95 US if bought on Steam), which is only $5 more than the Gold edition.

Well good news for Australians, recently geoblocking has become an offence in Australian consumer law and restricts american company's from refusing Australians access from american stores and prices.
