I just bought this game and have gotten to the part where you try to free the sage and my game WILL NOT LOAD. It goes to a loading screen and after 20 minutes i just quit the game because of the ridiculous loading time. Please help.

Not had this problem but I read you may be able to pause it and restart memory.

i had a long loading time when going to the african part of the game, where it's literally off the map. But it only took, maybe a full minute, instead of seconds. Maybe somethign is locking up in your computer to get stuck like that. Best bet is to force crash the game and re-load, see if that fixes it.

I feel your pain brother.
figured this out
Must restart the computer after starting the game and closing it then you have to verify the game cache in the properties section of the game. it will install the missing files.

Depends on how you define Loading screen, i have yet to see an actual loading screen in this game. If it takes time for you guys to load a mission or a cutscene then all of your computers are just bad (as in under minimum required system requiriments) or something else is horribly wrong with your setup.

what im talking about is ill try and continue the story from where i last left off and it will go to the loading screen where you can run around in the animus limbo...then it goes to an all black screen with the spinning abstergo logo and the word loading....and it constantly just loads....i have tried it multiple times, i tried restarting my computer so far nothing i have tried has worked...

yes, that is what happened to me. you must verify the game cache.

Just to be clear to verify the game cache go to your library in Steam and select the game and look under properties.

If the cache thing doesn't work its probably that you don't have swords. Quit the memory restart it and go to the nearest shop and buy swords. This fixed it for me.

Hey there SHADOWUNKNOWN13

I appreciate you commenting here to contribute to the issue discussed, but would like to ask you not to comment on old threads in future, and instead open a new one with a description of your query.

For the issue mentioned, I would recommend verifying your game files if you haven't already, and then reloading your save file again, possibly try reloading from an earlier save point as well.

This seems to have fixed it for some players, so please let me know if you're still having problems thereafter!

solved it: hit start on controler or CTRL + SHIFT + ESC it takes you to the pauce/start menu. HEre it allows you to trouble shoot, what worked for me was 1. Exit 2. Exit Memory. but you can do a lot of other things to troubleshoot like reset memory, load last check point, exit to animus
