Sir Francis Drake.. is this an Uncharted easter egg?
I haven't played uncharted in a while, but i am pretty sure that is an easter egg. (the equipment found in the sacrifice islands) Isn't Francis Nathan Drake's grandfather or something? If i am completely wrong please tell me.

I think it's more in reference to Francis Drake the famous English privateer and admiral (who admittedly was alive long before the game takes place) who had a lot of dealings with the Spanish navy, who thought he was just a pirate (kind of tying in to the game).

I guess you know a little more about that stuff then i do huh? I just thought Uncharted and the uncharted islands of AC4 sorta came together for a little reference.

Sir Francis Drake was a very real person. The second to sail around the world if I'm not mistaken.

I am definately not doubting that, i am just saying that (i think) the uncharted character has the exact same name.

They are the same person I think. I just started playing Uncharted 3 and I'm pretty sure Nate's great grandfather is Sir Francis Drake.
