Assassin's Creed 4 keeps pressing the Esc key automatically

hello

i just bought Assassin's Creed 4 for my pc,and it worked just fine for some hours.
but now i,m at the part where i need to hunt for food.
i whas just about done with that mission,and pressed the Esc key.
when i tryed to head back into the game,it whas like the game automatically pressed the Esc key again.
it just keeps doing that,everytime i try to get back into the game
so as you can imagine,i cannot play the game at all.
so it would be nice,if someone could help me on this.

i payed more than 60 euro,s for the main game and some addons.
so it would be nice,if someone could help me on this.

Check if there's some dust or something trapped in your Escape key, perhaps? The game shouldn't force a keypress. For future posts, btw, I wouldn't advise using the amount you spent on the game as a reason for people to help you. Nobody really cares about that. We all bought the game. (Not sure why it's not showing the mouse icon next to my name. I definitely bought the game earlier today.)

okay,i just added my first message
i just checked the key,and there aint any dust under it at all
i played this game for an couple of hours now,and it just worked perfectly fine
but suddenly this problem apears.
i restarted the game and the pc itself,and still have the same issue.
to re-install the entire game,would be rather weard in my opinion.
what else can i try?

check your crafting Menu there.
pretty sure it wants you to craft.

its working again.
i whas wondering if i indeed pressed the Esc key myself or not.
i,m not used to this reaction from games,but i supose i will have to get used to it.

this is the correct answer, and same thing happened to me. without any prompting, it is demanding the crafting option be activated but without telling you this. so it continually kicks you into the esc menu with no information. craft 2 things... holster and health, and it will return to normal. dumb.
