Game Keeps Pausing

Edit: Just found my answer, the game is making me craft something for the first time. I can't leave the pause menu till I do lol -_- damnit

Does anyone know how to fix this without reloading? I push the Esc key to exit the pause menu, and the pause menu comes back up immediately.
I thought it might be my keyboard, so I switched it with a newer one, but it's still occuring. Trying not to lose my progress.

Searched on Google and the first 30 pages of this forum, but haven't found a solution.

all you have to do is craft pistol holster II and the health upgrade I
i figured this out with my brother and we laugh each other XDDDDDD
on my first ac black flag progress i reset my game and get back in to it and it didnt work at all but on my 2nd progress i figured it out

Bumping this. Took me five restarts of the game and 2 restarts of my PC before I figured it out.

If that dont work for you, go to the menu go to crafting and craft the tools that you can craft then you can play.
