Assassin's Creed Black Flag PC Problems *FIXED
Does anyone know while playing Assassin's Creed 4, why my game thinks that I am using controller, but I am not? Please help.

Its made to use a controller, its a video game, not MS word, haha

I'm talking about PC version, I bought a PC game not PS3 game.

dont pay too much attention to BridgetFisher , she s a bad joke.

Do you even have a controller ? I dont know it already happened to be that my controller was plugged in and i forgot about it. It was in a position there was a joystick that was pushed so the game would always put controller buttons on the screen...

If not its a strange issue.... I have no clue really :/

No, I don't have a controller. Game's unplayable. I can access options though. I have a DS3 tool installed though that simulates xbox controller from ps3 controller. But it hasnt ran in the background when the game is open. Any ideas?

maybe it still conflict in registery tho... if you dont mind trying to uninstall it maybe it can solve your issue .

You might want to uninstall MotionInJoy or whatever you're using to emulate the 360 controller. It should fix the issue as it removes MIJ's modded device driver.

I take it you have already restarted so that Windows reloads all drivers?
If that doesn't help, try actually plugging a controller in, and then playing AC4 with mouse and keyboard instead. It should now work.

What has ps3 game to do with controller also play this game with controller allot of pc games just play better with controller.

I have restarted my computer, but it didn't work and I have plugged a controller and it also didn't work

Some people prefer Keyboard and mouse... you cant argue tastes like that :/

Got the same problem here. Had great gameplay for about 5 minutes then damn thing switched up to a xbox type controller and kicked my keyboard settings out to space somewhere. Now its unusable crap, can get to options which are blinking violently but can select with mouse. There's no option to switch back to Keyboard from Contoller, the controller it has mapped its a xbox controller. This is a brand new win 8.1 install on a new ssd, and I've wiped it clean and reinstall twice. Game is Download version

If you have vjoy, unistall it.
