Is the combat still ungodly easy?
I like the AC series generally(though Ezio did not need 3 whole games), but I'm wondering if this one has actually made the combat more indepth and fun. With the last three I played I could basically kill 50+ guards by just countering. Is this one more challenging?

The combat is still pretty much the same, the naval combat is pretty challanging though.

Basically the same as ACIII, just with dual swords rather than a tomahawk. The main addition is free-aiming with guns. Some enemies will throw grenades that are advisable to avoid. The naval combat can be much more challenging, depending on what kind of ships you're fighting, and how many of them there are.

way too easy, they even took out where you cant get wanted anymore for killing too many guards

Can we kill civilians? Multiplayer still lets people kill civilians which im not sure is legal in some countries.

You probably can kill civilians if you, say, shoot and explosive barrel and they happen to be standing nearby, but I don't think you can just go up and stab them. And if you managed to successfully kill some, too many would lead to desynchronization.

The combat sucks... They should return to brotherhood combat... But the game is awesome ^_^

I think the combat is the easiest its been actually. In normal combat, smoke bombs pretty much counter any type of enemy (in case you have trouble breaking their defenses), or you can just spam F to shoot them.

Stealth killing would be somewhat difficult but with the inclusion of darts, you can pretty much just hang back or shoot berserk darts from cover letting the enemies take care of themselves.

It's pretty easy. I find it a little more difficult than AC3 in some parts but it's mostly the same. The gunners can kill you in a few shots but, they go down the same as any other enemy.

That is really disappointing, I don't think I can make it through another AC game where it has a 2/10 difficulty the entire time.

Sadly the greatest turn-off for AC-series is the combat and assassination. Had they at least been a bit challenging the series would skyrocket imo. Now you don't even need to bother thinking about it. Just go kill-everyone-you-see-style and all will be solved.

But the shooters at least can make some devestating damage, which is a nice change.

It is redicolous that you know every assassin combat skill from the beggining of the game. you easily kill first assassin after 5 minutes of gameplay.
