120hz users post here!

Anyone have the game running stable at more than 60hz? No fixes yet I can find on the internet. Please post here as we need all the info we can get.

I am using the GD235hz from Acer but I wouldnt get 120 fps .... so i prefer the stable 60 than going from 60 to 80 every seconds :/

I've been playing downsampled from 2560x1440p to 1080p and it looks great. Running 50-60 for me. The most ive seen it go even with lowered setting is 63. So im assuming that it has some sort of frame limiter in game. Probably can find it in the .ini file just haven't taken the time to mess with it. I'm running an Asus 144hz and my 1080p option in-game is only 60hz. Just going off assumptions that there is a frame limiter.

seriously though guys....if you have the power to downsample i HIGHLY recommend it. Looks fantastic.

I would not pray for a patch to this. The game is coded for consoles and uses a 60 FPS cap. The fact that you are "spiking" to 80 is much more than anyone else is posting. The magic numbers seem to be between 57 and 63 FPS.

120Hz and GTX 780. The highest FPS i got is 62 on 1080p.

its because the game is capped @ 60

it literally is....find it in the .ini files and change it to whatever you want. Problem is that depending on how its coded, the game could run into problems over 60hz like in skyrim. If you go over 60 in skyrim, enemies move side to side at the speed of light and plates fly all over the room. This game runs ECCEPTIONALLY WELL compared to AC3. I'm seeing NO drops in frames at all running between 50 and 60 fps....if youre running low gpu usage its because its capping the game. Crank up some AA or downsample the game and enjoy the benefit of the nicer visuals if you dont want to make the adjustment yourself in the .ini

Seriously guys....this game seems to be rather well optimized this time. Runs almost as well as the new Splinter Cell(Probably the smoothest game i've played on PC to date, running +100fps at all times)Just crank up the visuals and enjoy the smooth graphical feast.

I made a post about this that got a lot of attention, sadly a bunch of ignorant pieces of ♥♥♥♥ came to my post to piss me off and it got closed by a moderator.

I had the game a couple of days early, not by pirating, and i posted yesterday about this.

It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous, i have two 780s overclocked to the ground and a 144hz screen, all useless.

It's not a matter of whether it is optimized or not - it's a matter of eye strain and fluidity. Since some of us have 120 Hz monitors it really makes no sense not to give that option to us at all resolutions. I can see in the options that if I lower my resolution 120 Hz becomes selectable. Unrelated but walking around outside of the Animus is like living in a coffin. What's the FOV set at - 45? LOL.

62.4 FPS is my max,No way someone is getting 80fps ,it isnt possible when the resolutions are set at a concrete 60hz.period

And what can we people with 120hz monitors say?? apart from AC2 onwards supported 120hz so why not this??

Wow anger issues. Changing the .ini doesn't help, and the max is 63fps. I'm running at 1440P on a GTX 690 and thats where it stays planted, though I've changed the .ini to 120hz, and the option is selectable in the options menu... Fraps still shows it at 63fps. Looks like we'll have to wait for a patch if that will happen.

I'm more concerned about the floaty/laggy mouse feel than FPS. Feels like they've applied a crapload of smoothing. Sucks. Otherwise it's really not bad at all.

Change "Displayable Resolution" from "60" to 120hz or 144hz or whatever your monitor may be.
