When does kenway become an actual assassin? (nospoilz, hopefully)

without spoiling, (just saying what sequence, if any). I mean, the past games were very centralized, you were in an order. I get that pirates are chaotic and stuff, but I miss the whole "you're in this order that has to kick a$$ and chew bubble gum so that people don't all become enslaved"

I read somewhere it happens later on in the game, and then pretty much forgets that it was ever a big deal.
So its hardly worth noting.. Ubi seems to be forgetting the whole background for the Assassins Creed games being the Assassins themselves.

yeah, it happens at seq 3..i think that's when it happened for the other games too...but yeah, it doesn't emphasize it as much :(

don't get me wrong, it's still fun, but the assassin part, and being a part of something bigger was the big drive for me all along. maybe it'll get better as i go through it.

He isn't really into the order until really late in the game. At the start he gets into it to acquire money but thats all. But you'll see how his character grows as the game progresses, some kinda sad parts too :'(

Can't call his title a spoiler, its a given in ANY assassins creed game that isn't following a previous one.
AC1 aside, each actual numbered game you start off as some schmuck that becomes an assassin.

Okay, that's better then..i really hate the "i just want money", as the player who knows what's at stake, etc.

After all the clones in the previous games I'm actually happy Kenway isn't the same cloned assassin who's out to save the world like every other game we've played.

Guess ill be disappointed later in the game though.
