u start the game, go to armory and check what the best weapon is... then u save some cash and buy the best one. then all waeponstuff in the middle is just decoration.
this is for swords and pistol all the same.
they gotta work on this issue, really...
it should and it can be an even better game with some effort on that aspect.
on the other hand... that would make the game much more like a shooter or else...
hard to define for DEVs if its rather good to put effective combat weapon for just going through the wall gamestyle or focus more on the stealthy blades and pipe thingy, which i enjoy alot^^
Ubi is trying too hard to dumb down the combat system to please as many as possible. Back in the AC2 days each weapon provided a certain level of incentive for the players to give it a go and see how it'd perform in combat. It was one of the many things that made the franchise great.
The ever minimizing number of weapon types since AC3 is absolutely not a thing I would like to see.
