*Spoilers* A few questions about the ending.

Hi,

I just finished the game and there are a few things i was confused/curious about so i figured here was the best place to ask.

1. What ever happend to kidds (mary?) child?
2. If his wife is dead who wrote the letter back? and why would they send his daughter to him if he was going to sail right back to england?
3. It feels like when shes a kid she loves him but then the cutscene right before the second credits she pouts when the guy refers to her as a kenway. so im curious if im missing somehting here or maybe shes just in a rebellious stage? (side note little haythem lol)
4. Its been some time since i played ac3 so can somone tell me. if haythem is kenways son what made him join the templars if his father joined the assassins and fought them at what i would assume is every chance he got?
5. Whats the deal with the sage? is he immortal? or does his memories get transfered to his son or something. i dont get how the sage thing worked.

I may have more but this is whats fresh on my mind after finishing the game.

most of it are explained in the book. but I haven't read it so I don't know for sure.

2) Her parents probably. The didnt want the daughter so wrote to Edward. They wouldn't know he was coming back to England.

3) She does love him but decided to keep her mothers last name so technically she's not a kenway.

4) Don't know that, its in the book though (which I haven't read)

I wasnt aware there was a book. i havent kept up with the side stuff. i didnt even know who the chick from liberty was yet the game talks about her constantly. i just figured it was a inbetween games type thing.

If you join the Initiates there are dossiers on all major storylines and characters. They're quite neatly categorized so it's easy to get information about specific parts of the AC story.

As for Haytham being a Templar, Edward began training him to be an assassin until Edward's death, where the same templar who was responsible for Edward's death mentored Haytham to become a Templar.

(More SPOILERS!!) As for the Sage, that is Aita who is Juno's husband. Juno wanted to bring him back to life after his death and he reincarnates in a human form every now and again as the Sage. Remember John's (Aita's) outburst when the Player gets to see Juno in the Abstergo offices and he doesn't. I presume he reincarnated there because of the DNA research and possibilities, as a tech because he must have thought he would be able to access her spirit form by hacking the system.

But why is she hiding in abstergos servers? its been a while since i played ac3 so i cant remember the ending that well but i thought they were dead or something?

She's not. At the end of AC3 Juno killed Desmond, in AC4 Abstergo are using Desmond's DNA for their research. My guess would be he or she hacked into Desmond's DNA and saw a message left in it by Juno when she killed Desmond. That's my guess anyway.

Also AFAIK the Sage wasn't annoyed because he didn't see Juno but rather he was hoping she would take over the players body but didn't, or did I miss something?
