Edward's got a mind of his own...
so, sometimes I start up AC4, and he's got on a different outfit on than last time I played. is he changing his outfits to make it feel like edward is still living his own life while you're not playing, or is this just a wierd bug?

I have had this happen to me but only once so far and he picked probably the worst looking one he had.....i feel like he did it to spite me....

yeah it happend twice, the first time I had him in his regular assassin gear, and then I played it again within an hour, he had the shark hunter outfit on, and this time he had the feline hunter one on.

For me he was wearing the feline hunter as well. maybe those suits are bugged? i only used the same outfit pretty much all throughtout the game (pirate captain) up until i got the myan outfit.

I've only had that happen once, on the mission where you get the private cove, learn about the Templar Armor and get access to the fleet stuff. Not sure why it did it, either, and it hasn't happened since.

Does the Myan outfit have a hood, because the Templar Armor's look doesn't sit right with me, even if it does reduce damage from hits.

Unfortunatly no :( it has no hood. also if you havent done the story i wouldnt use the armor just because i failed a full synch on a mission because it wanted me to use guards as bullet shields but due to the outfit preventing me from being shot i wasnt given the option to use a guard a shield. despite not having a hood though the myan is my personal fav. but that all comes down to personal pref.

ok, I'm playing it now. apparently shark hunter outfits are in fashion now. aka he's got the shark hunter outfit equiped. but this time, the thing came up telling me health upgrade I, II, II, ect. are now available, but I already fully upgraded it. this game is wierd. I fell like we're gonna be seeing a creepypasta on this outfit changing thing soon...

I'll stick to the Privateer outfit, then. Still gonna get the Myan outfit, probably just never gonna use it, same with the Templar one I've already gotten. What bugs me about them is that, even with no hood, Edward acts like there is one and tries to put it up when in restricted areas and what not...

Ha yea i forgot he does that. its funny in cutscenes and hes trying to be all cool or sneaky and he flips his invisible hood over him lol.

May just be hackers.....nah just kidding :) but ubisofts sites and servers got hacked so idk

Ok, so this happened a second time and I think I noticed a pattern, for me at least. It only seems to happen when I get taken out of the Animus to do one of thise "real-life" missions. After that, when I go back in I end up in one of the crafter outfits.

That happened to me too. I just assumed he changed because he's just relaxing in the time we dont see him or something.
