How do you change sea shanties/sing with your crew

As far as i am aware the shanties are randomly picked from the ones you have collected so far in the game.

People who are Xbox players and what not are saying they are able to choose the songs/sing along with their crew. There must be a PC option as well I'd imagine.

3 lets you change shanties, 4 stops the singing

The manual says to press 1-2-3-4 in order to start singing and the same to get them to stop singing. I'm thinking satircalTech might be right, though...because this doesn't always work as well as expected when I try it.

you can get the manual through uplay i think. but yeah, 3 and 4 are the buttons listed in the ship controls. i havent had a chance to try it yet, since i only just started the game

On windows:

3 to start singing
4 to stop singing
3 again to change song
