I need that, but how can others help? Simply by playing the game at the same time, while being in each other's friend list on uplay? Also, does it matter if you play your 100% save? I also have two royal convoys always showing on my map, but if I go there there are no ships at the location, only a bit of distance away. Should I kill those ships that are several hundred meters away from the location?

I don't think it is actually necessary for them to be in game. Maybe not even online.

Of course, as soon as I ask for help, the achievement pops up XD. I managed to find a video showing a chest spawn for those who still haven’t found one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syzR0HI_rhY. You just need to fast travel to Kenway's island and restart the game if it doesn’t spawn (restarting the game will change servers). As for the white whale, it turns out I had encountered one without realizing it, so I was only missing the chest. I hope this video helps those who haven’t found a treasure chest yet. Thanks to everyone who added me to help.
