Yes, it does. I am playing with xbox controller and it is working 99%. I needed to press ESC to get out of a menu once, but that did not repeat until now and might have been own mistake. Compared to newer games it is not as smooth, but still usable.

Have only played about 5 hours up to now, though not sure if issues will pop up later...

I've tried using a PS4 controller. It did not work. Definitely an Xbox controller only game.

I use dualsense and it works perfectly. But you shuold change controller preset through options in Steam Big Picture

Playing with ds4 controller. Using ds4windows and xbox360 layout, and works great.
