Liberation Cry achievements

I have the base game and the DLC (freedom cry) as a standalone game. I am unable to get the achievements for the DLC through the base game because there is no option to play the DLC nor to buy it on steam separetly, and if I play Freedom Cry as a standalone game the achievements do not go pop. Any advice? is it going to be fixed?

You need to buy the gold edition of AC4, which gives you all dlcs for the base game., including freedom cry

Problem is that Steam isn't selling the "Season Pass" DLC that is a part of the Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag's (AC IV: BF's) "Gold Edition" and for quite some time now.
Therefore buying it upon Steam currently impossible to perform.

Some people really ought to read more threads upon this very same forums section because by now I've simply lost trk of how many times I've posted and enlightened folks to not fall for that sleazy gimmick any more.

Actually I had Deluxe version without Freedom Cry bought in 2020. I've bought Gold Edition last week and now I have FC in main menu of the game among other DLC (btw, I have 2 versions of Black Flag in UConnect now, lol). So Bubley is right.

Reading comprehension is required. I never said anything about Ubi' Con[ubisoftconnect.com]'s / Ubi$oft's aquired versions but only referred to the Steam ones.

Lol , i'm talking about Steam versions too. I had Deluxe BF version bought in Steam . Then I've bought the Gold Edition of BF AGAIN in Steam after they added achievements (it just added missing DLCs to the main game i've already had for years). Now I have this game with all DLCs in Steam and at the same time two versions of it on UConnect, because all their games start from there first.

So if the topic starter wants to get Freedom Cry achievements or 100% completion he should buy Gold Edition, despite the fact that he already has the game (to buy it a second time, lol).
