DLC activation (incl Freedom Cry)

posting this to help those with DLC activation issues.

the basics, get DLC key from Steam, add to Ubisoft account....

the process:
1. Go to your Steam Library.
2. Right click on Assassin's Creed Black Flag.
3. Select 'view CD key'
4. you should see a list of all available DLC keys and game key.
5. Copy desired DLC key to clipboard
6. Launch Uplay from Start menu then login (do not launch through Steam).
7. top right is a little gear (settings), click it and select first option 'activate product'.
8. click in activation box then 'ctrl-v' to paste DLC key.
9. click 'o.k.' then 'activate'.

you will need to do this for any/all DLC purchased on Steam.

it is not soo obvious to everyone...

many need help with DLC activation... google it.

Yeah, to people not familiar with using Steam to access things like Uplay, this isn't always easy to just figure out. I had trouble myself until I looked it up.
